The DUAM SH-3P row planter can be configured with 2 to 5 seeding units, which are connected to the tractor by a rigid bar and a swing arm system to follow ground unevenness. The final coupling connection uses Category II Agricultural pins. This bar allows the operator to quickly change the distance between rows. The standard seeding system is by gravity, where the machine deposits a line of seeds in the furrow as it advances (optional, can be ordered with roller/plate dispenser). As the equipment moves forward, the furrow is opened by two stainless steel V-shaped discs located underneath, with easily adjustable depth. The seed is deposited in the furrow and a chain harrow covers it from behind. Behind the seed hopper, we find a second fertilizer hopper (optional) through which we can apply fertilizer laterally 4cm from the seeding furrow. This system also has a set of stainless steel discs that open the furrow and have depth adjustment. Then the rear harrow also covers that furrow. Finally, the 4 x 12 semi-pneumatic rear wheel presses it to finish leveling the ground.
The body chassis is made of 5/16 thick SAE 1010 sheet metal, providing rigidity and durability over time. The paint is thermosetting epoxy, oven-cured.
